📖 His Story

Meet wonderful Wilson, our gorgeous gentle giant with an enormous heart and so much love to give! 💙🐾

Wilson is approximately 6–7 years old and weighs around 32kg, although we're not entirely convinced he realises quite how big he actually is! 😂

He's currently enjoying life in a foster home in Leicester, where he's proving to be an absolutely lovely family companion.

He's a calm, affectionate and easygoing boy who seems to have found the perfect balance between enjoying life and knowing how to relax.

Whether he's heading out for a walk, enjoying a game of fetch or curling up beside his favourite people, Wilson is simply happy to be included in family life. ❤️

🐶 Personality & Temperament

Wilson really is a gorgeous, gentle-natured boy with a wonderful temperament.

He's incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves being close to his people. Expect plenty of leaning into you for cuddles, snuggling up beside you and generally behaving as though he's a fraction of his actual size! 🥰

Around the home, Wilson is an absolute dream. He's fully house trained, well mannered, shows no destructive behaviour and is perfectly content relaxing and enjoying the comforts of family life.

He's also wonderfully sociable. Wilson currently shares his foster home with two other dogs and gets along beautifully with them. He's equally lovely with the children in his foster family, including a toddler.

Although he's a fairly laid-back boy indoors, Wilson still enjoys getting out and about. He loves his walks, enjoys playing fetch and is always happy to spend quality time with his people.

He's also a clever lad who already knows his basic commands, and he's VERY food motivated! 😂 With the promise of a tasty treat, we think he'll be a lovely dog to continue training with.

Above all, Wilson is simply a happy, loving boy who asks for very little beyond companionship, affection and being part of a family.

🏡 Home Requirements

Other Dogs: Yes - Wilson can happily live with other friendly dogs, although we also feel he could be equally content as the only dog with plenty of human companionship.

Cats: Wilson hasn't yet been cat tested, so we cannot confirm his suitability for a home with cats.

Children: Yes - Wilson is currently living with a toddler and older children and has been wonderful with them. Families with younger children will simply need to be mindful of his size.

Experience Needed: No specialist experience is required. Wilson would suit a loving family who are comfortable with a larger dog and can provide regular walks, playtime, continued positive training and plenty of affection.
