📖 Her Story

Meet beautiful Alyna 💕

Alyna came into our care as a stray alongside her puppies, and from the very beginning she has shown us what a lovely, gentle girl she is.

She is a beautifully soft and affectionate dog who has settled happily into pound life and enjoys spending her days around both people and other dogs. Despite everything changing around her, Alyna has remained calm, friendly and wonderfully easy-going.

Now that her puppies are growing up and finding their own futures, it's Alyna's turn to discover what life beyond the pound can offer.

🐶 Personality & Temperament

Alyna is such a lovely balance of affectionate, gentle and calm. She absolutely loves cuddles and enjoys being close to people, but she isn't demanding of attention - she's simply happy to be included and spend time with her humans.

She also has a lovely playful side and enjoys toys of all kinds. Once she's finished having fun, she's equally content to settle down and relax.

Alyna is exceptionally good with other dogs and has a wonderful way of interacting with them. She is confident around dogs of different sizes and personalities and is particularly good at giving them space and allowing friendships to develop naturally. She doesn't pester or overwhelm other dogs and is happy simply going about her day alongside them.

Her closest friend at the pound is Konan, a Kangal, and she spends much of her day happily alongside him. She has also shared kennels successfully with other friendly dogs.

Alyna has a lovely, thoughtful nature. She takes a moment to understand new situations and then approaches them calmly and sensibly. She is friendly with everyone she meets and has shown herself to be particularly lovely with children.

She is also enjoying getting out for walks. She is still learning her lead skills, but is comfortable around light traffic and has shown no reactivity towards other dogs while out.

With her gentle nature, sociability and lovely temperament, Alyna has all the qualities we look for in a wonderful family companion.

Other Dogs: Yes – Alyna is very sociable and could happily live with another friendly dog.

Cats: No – Alyna has not been cat tested and is not considered suitable to live with cats.

Children: Yes – can live with suitably aged, dog-savvy children. Alyna has been very good with children.

Experience Needed: Alyna is a lovely, easy-going girl who would suit a family looking for an affectionate and gentle companion. She will benefit from continued positive training and guidance as she settles into her new life.
