Meet the adorable Butler 💙

Butler is one of those puppies who instantly makes everyone smile. With his bright, sparkly eyes, happy personality, and endless enthusiasm for life, it’s impossible not to fall in love with him.

At almost 6 months old and weighing around 8kg, Butler is expected to grow into a lovely small-medium sized dog. It’s difficult to know exactly what breeds make up this gorgeous boy, but he has the look of a Terrier crossed with a Shepherd — almost like a miniature Shepherd with a wonderfully compact size.

Now safe in a volunteer-run municipality pound, Butler is ready to find a family who will continue to help him grow into the amazing companion he is destined to become.

🐶 Personality & Temperament

Butler has a wonderful, joyful nature and approaches life with so much happiness. He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and those beautiful, expressive eyes, making friends wherever he goes.

He absolutely loves people and is always excited to see his favourite volunteers, welcoming them as though they’ve been apart forever. He’s affectionate, playful, and has the sweetest way of making those around him feel special.

Butler is also fantastic with other dogs. He happily mixes with dogs of different ages and sizes, enjoys playing with his kennel mates, and has lovely social skills. He is playful and fun while still being gentle and respectful.

This clever little boy loves his walks and is already doing beautifully on the lead. He is very food motivated, enjoys his toys, and is eager to learn, making him a wonderful puppy to continue training and building a bond with.

Most of all, Butler just wants to be part of a family — to explore, play, cuddle, and share all the love he has to give.
