📖 Muttley’s Story

When Muttley first arrived at the pound, it was clear he had been through a very difficult time. He was extremely thin, exhausted, and unsure of the world around him. In those early days he spent most of his time curled up in his bed, where he felt safest.

With patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement from the volunteers, Muttley slowly began to trust again. Day by day his confidence grew, and before long he had completely won over everyone who cares for him.

During his time at the pound he has gained around 10 kg and is now a healthy 37 kg. Watching his transformation has been incredibly special.

🐶 Personality & Temperament

Muttley is a true gentle giant with the sweetest nature. Calm, affectionate, and incredibly kind, he simply loves being around people. He happily welcomes attention and is especially fond of tummy rubs.

He enjoys his walks, a little playtime with his dog friends, and then is more than content to settle down in his bed for a well-earned rest.

With other dogs he is an absolute gentleman and has made many friends at the pound. Seeing him relax, play, and enjoy life again has been a real joy for the volunteers.

Muttley is a big dog with a very big heart, and he will make a wonderfully loyal and loving companion for the family lucky enough to adopt him.
